PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

Welcome to AFTAB Society

I, Syeda Taskeen Chishty warmly welcome you as the President of AFTAB Women Welfare Society.

AFTAB Women Welfare Society is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to the empowerment and welfare of women. Our core focus areas include women’s education, health awareness, skill development, self-reliance, and promoting awareness about women’s rights. We firmly believe that empowering women is the foundation for building a strong and progressive society.

As a social worker, my continuous effort has been to reach out to women and girls in need, providing them with guidance, support, and opportunities to lead dignified and independent lives. Through our various initiatives and programs, the Society strives to create a positive and sustainable impact in the lives of women from all sections of society.

My vision is to see AFTAB Women Welfare Society emerge as a trusted and impactful organization that brings meaningful change and ensures respect, safety, and equal opportunities for every woman.

The trust and support of our members, volunteers, and well-wishers are our greatest strength. Together, let us work towards building an empowered, inclusive, and compassionate society.

Warm regards,
Syeda Taskeen Chishty

My Leadership Philosophy

The values that drive me and this organization forward.

Empathy First

I believe in listening to the pain of others before offering solutions. Every woman's story matters to me.

Action Over Words

Promises do not change lives, actions do. I am committed to working on the ground, not just in offices.

Unity is Strength

No one can change the world alone. I value every volunteer and donor who joins our family.

Why I Started AFTAB Society?

"Years ago, I saw a young girl being denied education simply because she was a girl. That moment sparked a fire in me. I realized that if we want a better tomorrow, we must invest in our mothers, sisters, and daughters today. AFTAB is not just an NGO; it is a movement to reclaim the lost dignity of women in our society."
